Shelaine earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Texas. She worked for 5 years in Neurosurgery as an Intensive Care Unit nurse before returning to school. She earned her Masters of Science Degree from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee with a focus as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She previously was a Neurosurgical Critical Care and Neuro Trauma Nurse Practitioner for 10 years. Shelaine joined Delaware Valley Nephrology and Hypertension Associates, PC in April 2018 and sees chronic kidney disease patients in the office and endstage renal disease patients in our dialysis clinics. Shelaine is Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She maintains certification in Basic Life Support and Cardiac Life Support. She is an active member of the National Kidney Foundation and the Renal Physicians Association.
Shelaine’s areas of interest include chronic kidney disease, hypertension and patient education.
