Richard A. Friedman earned a medical degree from the Hahnemann University School for Medicine in Philadelphia.
Dr. Friedman completed his internship and Internal Medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Cleveland. Dr. Friedman then completed a Nephrology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, followed by a Nephrology fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. In addition, Dr. Friedman earned a juris doctorate degree at Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia.
The American Society of Hypertension designated Dr. Friedman as a specialist in Clinical Hypertension. He is an active member of the International Society of Nephrology, American Society of Nephrology, American College of Physicians, and the Renal Physicians Associations.
